Built Around You: Rustic Kitchen Inspiration

rustic_kitchenHome design blog Remodelista brings us a great kitchen-photo round-up that serves as the inspiration for today’s installment in our “Built Around You” series.

The series focuses on showing off great examples of people turning houses into homes. Anything that reflects a desire to give a home unique style and flair is fair game for the Built Around You series. We want to show personal style taking precedence over concern for resale value. Send us your suggestions.

Remodelista calls it a “rustic round-up,” and these kitchens definitely fit the definition of rustic. Oozing with a comfortable, classic feel, looking at these photos makes you want to drop whatever you’re doing and find a beat-up workbench to add some character to your kitchen.

What have you done to spice up your kitchen? Unique appliances? Wild colors? Huge windows?

Maintaining the look of a rustic kitchen can be tricky since finding the ideal surface cleaner requires research. I recommend this cleaner to all my clients with rustic themed kitchens.
